LYRC are the only people who that had kept their support with my family. They didn't get funding and didn't give up on us.

I'm also a prominent activist of the Labour Party, holding various positions such as Black, Asian and other Ethnic Minorities Officer for London Young Labour (its London youth branch), Chair of Enfield Young Labour and I was a campaign organiser for the 2015 General Election.
I just thought I'd let you know how I've been since we last spoke. And to thank you for your help through the Lyric mentoring programme.

“Arts Within really connected me and open my eyes to things not only I have been through for example drug dealing but what others go through as well.
Overall I really enjoyed the workshops and performing to people. Before I entered into this program I was very shy but while in the program I was encouraged by the facilitators to believe in myself.
Not only has this helped me with my confidence but this has also helped me in school.
The mental health Subject really touched me as I was going through things but luckily I was supported by the facilitator as he also mentored me. [John, 15years old]
